About Me

I'm a geomatics enthusiast with a background in Computer Science and Geographic Information Systems.  My programming interests include GIS customization, integration of reasoning technology with GIS, GIS for hazard monitoring, and sensor networks.

Employment

I'm currently employed as Informatics Instructional Coordinator in Mapping, Analysis, and Design at the University of Waterloo.  Previously I worked as a Programmer, Researcher, and Graduate Student in the Multi-purpose Environmental Modeling Facility (MEMF Lab) at the University of Windsor.

Other Projects

Outside of my professional aspirations, I'm also working on some side projects more for my own sense of amusement than anything else.  I'm working on a novel that started as a NaNoWriMo project.  I'm also looking to start work on a 2D "Old-School" style RPG with a friend of mine.
